There was alot of debate as we began this year and squared away a great underwriter as to how to do this first year. As we continued working with this underwriter it was determined that the more members we had the lower the insurance cost could be. With this in mind we decided to try to increase our membership right out the gate in the hopes that if we have enough members rolling into next year we may be able to offer even lower rates! That's our hope anyway. So by getting the name of American Fire Artists out there not only do increase the chance that we might be able to get lower rates next year, but we communicate and increase the saftey of fire performers everywhere by educating them on how you can do things safely and even increase the audience anticipation and concern Afterall... Fire performance is NOT about the danger... it's about the ILLUSION of danger So keep them guessing! ~ Chris Byram
